Stamp-a-Faire

I am so happy when I get more than an hour to create.  This afternoon I had about two hours to create and got four cards done for the Stamp-a-Faire challenges. The first card is my favorite of the bunch. It was for Kay's Water Color Like a Master challenge.  Best part about this was that I didn't have to worry about the stamps lining up perfectly. Love the soft, soothing feel of this card.

My second card is for Amy's Starry Night challenge. I didn't have any white paint or thick white ink...so I couldn't quite do the whole technique but am pleased with the way it turned out.  Always good to get a bit more use out of my distress inks!

My third card is for the Masterpiece Inspirations Challenge.  I  loved the bold colors in Henri Matisse's picture.  This card will probably go to Ryan when he's off to college.  Only a few weeks to go...and this mama's heart is happy but hurting a bit at the same time.

My last card is for Lizzie's Drips & Splatters challenge.  You can tell I'm a bit of a CAS girl...so I kept the splatters a bit minimal. This card will go to a co-worker whose birthday is in a few days.

I'm hoping to play along with one or two more challenges before Tuesday morning. We'll see how much energy I have when I get home from work tomorrow!

Now I'm off to see Me Before You with my mum. Think we'll need to bring some tissues for sure.

wonderful creations Lynn - i love your watercolor one the best too - would love to hear what you thought of the movie - i was conflicted as i loved the acting, how cute and quirky the actress was - sorry i couldn't handle or agree with the end.

Oh, I love your take on all of the challenges so far, especially the Matisse one with the tree/leaves! Genius! I remember how it felt taking Jake to university the first time...it gets better, trust me...but yes, lots of tears at the beginning ox

These are fantastic, Lynn! Gosh, I wish I could accomplish that much in two hours. LOL! I'm lucky to make one card in that time, and there's no way they'd be this gorgeous if I tried.

Fab set of cards Lynn. Love the soft feel of the first. My fa is the second, gorgeous sky and of course we love the third CAS creation. No crafty time for me, Kylie and her Mum have taken over the space and I can't even get to it!!

These are fabulous! I wish I could've played along with more challenges (or won, that would've been nice too), but love the leaves, I have that set... great reminder.

So many gorgeous cards! I amazed that you were able to bang our four cards in two hours, I would still be choosing stamps--lol! Hope you and your mom enjoyed the movie, I just finished the book last week!
