Time Out: A Lifetime of Love

It's time for another challenge at Time Out!  Our challenge this time is to be inspired by words and we have a fabulous quote for you:
Love is the flower you've got to let grow (John Lennon)

I was inspired by the love and flower theme.  I embossed flowers on vellum and then used a touch of distress ink on the vellum to add a little more color.  I'm loving the thread and sequins together trend (can you tell?!)  This is one of my favorite Verve sentiments so this card will be going to Pat for Valentine's Day.

Our sponsor for this challenge is Clearly Besotted Stamps. They have a gift certificate!  Be sure to play along for a change to win!

Please pop on over to the Time Out blog and play along with us!

Beautiful card, Lynn. Love your background, fantastic sentiment, and did you mean for the thread to be in the shape of a heart, because that it what it looks like to me--so clever.
