Two Cards to Share

Kara is having a super fun challenge to be inspired by her Friday Inspiration Files. If you don't follow Kara on Pinterest, you should!  I love her style and am constantly repinning cards that she has pinned.  Her challenge for us is to choose a card from her inspiration file.  I choose this card from Jaquie.  I loved it...didn't have any circles so I swapped out the circles for some stitched rectangles.  Thanks so much for having such a fun challenge Kara!

My second card  is almost exactly the same as my card here, but I wasn't quite ready to put away the vellum or the polka dots!  Instead of a thank you note, I made a Christmas card. It was the perfect card for the Just Us Girls word challenge of winter.  Another easy Christmas card for mailing.  Love making cards that slide easily into the envelope!

What a production! Beautiful cards. But I'm taking a brake from making X-mascards... Up to snow and lots of blues (or bright colours...) Hugs, Gerrina

Love them both Lynn...you're reminding me that I'm slacking on my 2015 holiday stash. Will need to work on that this weekend!

Two great cards, Lynn. Love the whimsy in the first card - the font on your sentiment is just perfect, but your second card nearly made me fall off my chair!!! Stunningly beautiful. I'm sitting here shaking my head wondering how you've made something so CAS and beautiful all at the same time. Dang girl! I'd make a dozen of those....LOVE these. Bev

Love both of these. The first is particularly pleasing to me--I think it is the offset tree. So unexpected.

Oh these are both fabulous, and yes totally see the CASE and of course you should use more snowflakes, still love the colors. Happy winter- we seem to have a bit of spring mixed in at the moment. Can you please remind Mother Nature to send me more snow?

Oh my goodness I love them both. Like LOVE love! And your first snowflake card was incredible, so I'm glad you made another version of it. Sometimes I wonder why I don't do that with some of the cards I really love.
