Thanks

I'm a bit late to the MUSE party, but as they saying goes...better late than never.  We were extra busy this weekend with the start of the show choir season.  Friday night we were cheering Jonathon on and Saturday we were cheering on Ryan. Very proud to say that both their groups took home grand champion awards along with best vocal, choreography and band.  A fantastic start to their show choir competition season.

But, back to my card.  I loved the tiny pop of color on Michele's Muse inspiration card below along with the tough of negative space  I have a bit more color and mimicked the touch of negative space.  I'm also entering this over on the CASology challenge as I've used Simon Says Stamps inks for this card.  I haven't been thrilled with my Stampin' Up inks so I bought five of the Simon Says Stamp inks. Have to say I love them.  Much better ink coverage.  So...this is my NBUS item. I couldn't miss the change to play along with this challenge inspired by Darnell!

I'm off to bed for the night to get ready for the work week!  Hope you all have a fabulous start to your week.

What a pretty card you made. Love the design, and your ink really looks fantastic. I am not feeling as in love with my SU inks as I was when I first got them. Good to hear that SSS inks are worth a try. Thanks so much for playing along at CASology this week. And, congrats to the boys on their award winning singing.

Does that mean you're going to part with your Stampin Up inks? Lovely card, all that beautiful white space :) I have plenty of NBUS... should do more digging.

Congratulations to the boys!! That's so exciting! Your card design is terrific, Lynn! I just love how you've tucked a little blossom in there! Thank you for playing in the CASology challenge! Don't forget, since you used NBUS, that you can also link it to my NUBS Challenge #3 for your second entry! Hugs, Darnell

Congrats to the boys!!!! Told our daughter about them; Melissa the drummer's mom; she was impressed! Funny how we live so far apart, but in spirit we're neighbors and can share life's little triumphs - love that! Speaking of loving....your card is gorgeous. Perfectly lovely colors and I like your split panel very much. I know what you mean about inks. I've fallen completely for Mama Elephant inks. Hope to have most of them one day soon, lol! This ink color is perfect for these blooms. Love it! Bev
