You're Holding All the Cards {and Birthday Party Pictures}

Happy Tuesday my friends. This is a card I made a while back but hadn't had a chance to post. It's using CAS-ual Fridays stamps and dies. I created a stencil using the dies and then used embossing paste to stencil the card suit shapes. Love the end result, but the picture of the card doesn't do it justice.  It is so hard to photograph black cards!

I've entering this in Virginia's View Clean and Simple Card challenge.  I could enter this every day!  I love CAS cards!

Before I go, I thought I'd share the layouts from Marcel's birthday party. Still loving the Project Life App!  These would have taken months to get into a scrapbook...instead of days!

My boyfriend and I met at a poker tournament two years ago. He didn't think a girl could trump him, but I did! This would be a perfect card for him... I'll have to find this set. Thanks for sharing!

Love your card. Black always makes for such a dramatic and eye catching card front. And, very fun birthday parties. Thank heavens for little boys. What a fun time.

What an amazing party!! That cake looks incredible, bet he didn't want to cut it (although nothing really comes between a child and cake...or me and cake come to think of it). And a Project Life App?? What a genius idea, would certainly make everything so much easier. Just love the card you made too. I love black/red and white, its very crisp and so perfect with the die-cuts. Virginia will love it!!

You don't make all black card very often, I like that you're mixing it up (but am still a fan of your white on white agenda).

Hahaha, yes you could enter the CAS challenge every day!! Really love this one, Lynn! The suits going across the card make such a nice border. And thanks for sharing your birthday party photos. Looks like a fun time. You are helping to motivate me to get some of my scrapbooking or PL done!
