Fabulous Birthday {and Mangan Family Easter}

We are really lucky that the majority of our family is in town and that the two out of town families aren't more than about six hours away. Everyone was in town this weekend to celebrate Easter.  Friday night we spent over Pat's parents with a casual dinner and Saturday afternoon we were at Pat's brother and sister-in-law's house for the annual Easter egg hunt before heading over to my brother's 50th birthday party.  It was another beautiful day and you can tell the cousins all enjoyed each other by the smiles on their faces.  and the picture in the middle bottom...my 16 year old son is holding a beer, but that was Pat's...goof balls...

They also had fun climbing up the tree...PS look closely at Collin's hair.   He had a little hiatus from the hair gel, but it's back :)!
My card today is for Lisa's fabulous Wanna Sketch...love, love, love her sketches!

I made a card for the last wanna sketch and didn't post it, perhaps I should try again? Love this. I have a die like yours… perhaps I should dust it off?

such sweet photos! I laughed at Collin's return to th gel! So funny what goes through their heads about hair products. Looks like a perfect day for an outdoor egg hunt :) EEK! You got the new Verve set! Don't you love the fonts? I'm still in love with the polaroid frame. So easy but striking! ox

What a wonderful Easter you had. I laughed when I saw that beer! Lynn it reminded me of a video from way, way back when my oldest (31) was 3 years old. When we replayed the video of his birthday party, while my husband was helping him open his presents, Matt reaches down and takes a swig of Warren's beer and makes the craziest face when he realized it wasn't soda. None of us had seen him pick up the bottle during the chaos of the party. Great parents...right?

I am so glad you explained the beer Ryan is holding - when I first saw the photo, I was hoping it was root beer - ha! :) Love all the pics - looks like everyone had a wonderful time!

Love your card! Fab take on the sketch! ♥

Lynn love that card, the sentiment is great! The grungy background is perfect for a masculine card. Love seeing more pictures of your wonderful weekend! You want the first one he has to be with his Dad. He was just practicing how to hold it--that is allowed...with family! LOL

You have rocked this sketch, Lynn! Everything is just right on this card, right down to the one rounded corner. Great color combination, love that the frame is stitched, and the little dots are the perfect finishing touch. Your Easter sounds like it was absolutely lovely. Our family is all over the country; rarely are we all/mostly together. But we stay in touch! : ) Bev

Aww, I just scrolled down to check out all your wonderful Easter and birthday photos! What a fun-loving family you have. Love the selfies and the baseball photos. It's that time again! Logan has his first game tomorrow night, and then it's 4 games a week for the next couple months.

Love your polariod with just the sentiment in it. Super-cute card, Lynn!
