Thanks a Bunch

Hi there...it's going to be a busy 24 hours on my blog...I'm popping in to share a couple more cards for the current Clean & Simple class...and I'll be back shortly to share a card for the first Time Out Challenge and then one for the next Fusion challenge.

But before I get to my next two posts, let's chat about this post!  I took Laura Bassen's inspiration from today's class and did some layered stamping.  I love, love, love stamping. For my first card I covered the entire card base.  I rarely do this and have just a few background stamps that cover the whole card.  I also took Jennifer's tip of inking up the edges of the leaf stamps.  Love the extra bit of depth that gives the leaves. Here's hoping I remember that tip!

My second card I used the PTI Grunge Me set...I haven't used that in a really long time.  I love the combination of a feminine and masculine card with the same techniques!  Happy stamping my friends.

Hi Lynn, I really really love that first card and was wondering where the florals and leaves came from... Could you let me know what set(s) they're in? I've seen them a few times and it's driving me batty trying to find them! TIA!!!

You are a good student. Wonderful cards. I was just looking at that Verve flower set yesterday thinking I need to use it. Love the two toned leaves! Great second card too. I need to take one of these classes so I'm not a CAS geek LOL!

Two FABULOUS cards, Lynn! Love the layered stamping on the first one, and how you can see the envelope pattern just a bit through those gorgeous flowers (I have that background stamp but never think to use it!) And the 2nd card is perfect, masculine and grungy!
