Happy B-Day 2 You!

We're back!  Are you enjoying all the CAS-ual Fridays sneak peeks?  I certainly hope so.  I know I had a ton of fun creating with them.  Today we're back to feature our second of three new dies for this month.  Michele has created a die to coordinate with the Bold Wishes set. I've had a ton of fun creating backgrounds with this set and now I have a coordinating die!  The die has two parts:  a square tag and the image from Bold Wishes.  It's awesome.

For my first card, I colored with colored pencils on a sheet of white paper and die cut three images putting the colored images in the negative die to make a fun birthday card.  I'm entering this over in the Moxie Fab Color Media Challenge

For the second card, I used the square tag portion of the card.  I purposely highlighted the sentiment in the negative image of the tag to draw more attention to the sentiment on the card.  This tag is very versatile and you could easily use it as a gift tag for a present.  The flowers and sentiment are from the Wonderful Words set.

It's super fun to see the different styles the design team has and how we use the new sets/dies.  Please be sure to come over to the CAS-ual Fridays blog to take a look!

These are both just gorgeous. I cannot wait to snag one of those dies for myself. The colored pencil behind the die negative is stunning.

See, now this is a coloring technique I can do! I am such a marker-phobe, but I have no fear of colored pencils *grin* I just love how this turned out. Gorgeous creations!!
