Happy 10th Birthday Collin and Fusion Challenge!

Happy Friday my friends!  Before I get to my FUSION card for this week, we have celebrating to do!  My little man, Collin, has a big milestone today.  He's hit double digits today!  The big ten years old!  We're celebrating by going go-karting with a few of his friends this afternoon.  He is so excited for the big day.  Oh how I love this sweet little guy.  A few of my favorite things about this little man:  when he smiles he smiles with his eyes...I love how his eyes dance when he's really happy; he loves to be outside, he's daring, loves to ride skateboards and bikes at full speed, "why would I ever sit down on a skateboard?!"; he loves to work with his hands...he's our little chef in the making.  And he's my lovey child...always quick with an I love you and always quick with a kiss and a hug.  He's shy and he's 100% adorable in my book!  Happy birthday Collin!

Now, back to card business! We have another awesome challenge for you over on the Fusion Challenge blog.  A fabulous inspiration photo and a super fun sketch.  When I saw the watermelon, I instantly wanted to buy a watermelon stamp, but since I didn't have any (and I actually behaved and didn't buy any!) I went with the pink/green theme.  I also cut my patterned papers to make it feel a bit like a sliced piece of watermelon.  And yes...I went back to my PaperSmooches Reflection die cuts again :)
Please go on over and check out the amazing cards the design team has made and of course, we'd love for you to play along.

And here's the birthday boy's card to celebrate the big 10!
