CAS Christmas Week - {Day 1}

Before I get to my post for today, I've updated my sale page with LOTS of stamps if you're interested, click here.  Thanks!

Hello there...I've decided that this is going to be CAS Christmas week on my blog...so get ready for at least 5 days of Christmas inspiration (that's how many I have ready to go as of today!).  First up I have two cards for the PaperSmooches Sparks challenge.  At first I was inspired by the black stripes on the crayons.  And the end result was my card above.

Then inspiration came from the neutral color tones...and still the stripes.  I added a touch of color with the red (and this is one of my favorite ways to use up scraps).

Hope you like both of the cards...Christmas in July as of tomorrow :)!

what a cool inspiration picture! LOVE the diagonal stripes and pop of red on the snowflake...could that little rejoice sentiment be any cuter? I don't think so! ox

Both of these cards are gorgeous, Lynn! I'm loving the black stripes in the first card. What a great contrast with the red and blue. The present in the second card is so clever. I love the combination of neutral papers. Thanks for joining us at this week's Paper Smooches SPARKS Challenge!
