Just a Note

Happy, happy Monday.  This will be a short work week for me as we get to take a trip to Miami for business.  I'm looking forward to warm weather after the snow we've had the last few days.  Not a ton of snow so it is certainly not a problem, but warm weather sounds fabulous right now!  Now...back to my card.  I had fun inking up Karen's Happy as a Lark set and playing along with the sketch at CASE this Sketch.  I made several of these....enough to include in my mum's two card sets and 8 more to put aside for a card set for the craft fair this November (yes definitely planning ahead). You'll see lots more craft fair creations over the next 9 months!  I love the soft feel of this card!

My heart is pitter pattering after seeing this birdie inked up so very lovely and soft. What a fantastic idea to perch him on the woodgrain too! Love it and will have to CASE it. Have fun on your trip, and stay healthy!

This is so beautifully soft, Lynn. I love how the bird looks multi-tonal--did you use the rock and roll technique on it? As always, I love the bit of texture from the twine and ribbon tab.
