Deepest Sympathy

Most of my posts from the last couple of weeks were created way in advance so I haven't created much over the last couple of weeks.  Tonight, I can't sleep...so I decided to get up and make a couple of cards.    I'm popping in to quickly share a card inspired by the color combination below.   Unfortunately, I'll be sending this card to a co-worker whose lost their mother-in-law very unexpectedly.  My thoughts and prayers are with her and I really don't like that as quickly as I make sympathy cards they get mailed.

I love the non-traditional sympathy card...it's a great way to let you co-worker know that you're thinking of her.

They are definitely hard to make, but are so heartfelt when you can think of the recipient...adds a little more love I think :) Love the colours and the line of "3"

Lynn I am sorry for your co-worker's loss and I know that it is awfule that sympathy cards leave as quickly as they are made. Your card is a truly beautiful CAS design.

It's beautiful, Lynn, but I totally know what you mean. I hate making sympathy cards, especially when you're feeling sympathetic towards somebody. Sometimes, that's when it's the most difficult to create, but I just used up my last sympathy card yesterday. Sigh.

This is what cards should look like...clean, crisp and simple. Love this a lot. :)

The hardest cards to make, but the ones that convey the most love and care. Receiving a handmade sympathy card is so touching, and echo the words you write inside.
I love that you kept the colours in this design.
Hugs!

Sorry you had to make this card at all, Lynn, but it's lovely. I like the way you tucked the sentiment into the stem.
