Congrats You Deserve It!

Do you love your job?  Well, my sister-in-law, Cindy, absolutely loves her job and it shows in her results.  Over 19 years ago when my oldest niece, was a year old, Cindy decided to try Pampered Chef.  At that point, Cindy was a labor and delivery nurse.  Over the next few years, she was able to transition 100% to Pampered Chef.  And wow oh wow has she had amazing results over the years.  She has recruited so many people to Pampered Chef and has just surpassed the million dollar mark in lifetime sales.  Isn't that amazing?  I certainly think so!  So...this is a big huge congrats card for Cindy on her awesome accomplishment!

PS  Loved hearing about the sounds around your house yesterday! Thanks for answering me!

And now for the next question:  what's the trick to the new Stampin' Up Inks?  Am I pressing down to hard...look at how the navy is fading in and out on my card above?  Any ideas :)

Wow!!! That IS so amazing! She definitely deserves a big comgrats!!!
I'm finding that the new SU! ink pads don't work well on clear stamps :( The ink seems to pool and gives an uneven look. They work like a dream on rubber stamps though!
Now that I wrote a book, I love your color combo! Fab card Lynn!!!

Sorry Lynn, I don't use these inks. Your card looks fabulous though - I love the navy pattern :)

Great colours and I love the diagonal lines providing a 'ground' for the flowers!

wow to your SIL...that's awesome. Your card is so fresh and fun! I didn't know that SU had new inks....I actually like the look of the navy:)

Beautiful card, Lynn! What an awesome accomplishment for your SIL. She will love this card. I have not purchased any of the new SU inks. I know that there were certain colors in the past that always stamped splotchy no matter what (baja breeze the biggest culprit).

Sorry I don't have an answer to your question, Lynn, but I DO love your card! Gorgeous colors! Congrats to your SIL - amazing accomplishment!

what a way to celebrate such an accomplishment! Wow! Love the fun colours :) I have not purchased any of the new inks...still just have all the old ones. Sounds like they may have changed the formula? I love the old ink. I'm wondering if you can google "SU ink problems." That's what I did with our stove knobs and found a thread about it! I would like to know because I know I'll be getting some ink soon...maybe some starfruit!

Congrats to Cindy! Love the little brads/buttons in the centre! Can't help with the stampin' up ink. Have a good day x

Awesome job for your sil! I use thin foam pad under my cardstock, and hold the stamp for a few to let the ink soak in. It might be your stamp too I have had that happen with certain images.

I don't have SU ink (yet), sorry, can't give you an explanation.

The card is beautiful! The 'hearts' of the flowers are brads?

Always love it when you flash some Verve, and all the more when it's flowers :) Can't help you in the ink dept. Still have just the old ones. A huge congrats to your SIL!! They have great products and she obviously knows how to sell them!!

Wow a huge congrats to your SIL! What an amazing accomplishment. I so love Pampered Chef products. Your card for her is just gorgeous and would have never noticed the ink issue without my glasses. I don`t use SU`ink but have had some similar grief with PTI ink.

LOVE that chevron pattern, girl! And the pop of coral really says look at me! Wow!

I'm having the same trouble with my new SU inks. My demonstrator really talked 'em up, and I needed a couple new pads that they no longer had in the old styles. But I'd go back for anything. Sometimes it helps to ink up, stamp off, ink up again, and stamp on your project. I know that's a lot of work, but it's worth it to get that clean, crisp line.

Wow she has done well. So inspiring to hear people who have followed their dreams. Love the card. The different angles work well.

Congratulations to your SIL, this card is a dandy beautiful one! Glad she likes her job, I'm not liking mine at all, but so grateful I have it for the income. I'm not sure about the inks, I only have a few pads of the old ones, sorry!

Wow, what a great design! I love the movement of the "arrows" at the bottom and the beautiful coral flowers. And congrats to your SIL! It takes a lot of courage to pursue something new, and it's great to hear stories of those who've succeeded at making the switch to something they love.
As for the new SU inks, I'm not thrilled with them myself. Mine are way too juicy and tend to leave splotchy impressions, which isn't any better than the weird crosshatches the old ink pads leave on my clear stamps. Still looking for the perfect ink, but not enough in my budget to replace all my SU ones at the moment!

Fabulous use of thes sets and love the colors!! Congrats to the SIL...WOW!! Love me some Pampered Chef!! Now, I'm a bit disappointed in the new SU ink pads...only have one that I have actually used...had to replace crumb cake and tried to stamp a sentiment last nite and it was not even coverage-inked the pad and it was much better tonite! The thing is with the old SU ink pads I used them for years before I ever had to buy re-inker but, like Christina already have so much money invested in them.

Gorgeous gorgeous card! Love the coral flowers and they look fabulous with the navy. Big congrats to Cindy too! That's so cool that she went for a dream and has succeeded so spectacularly. :)

Was interested to read the ink comments as I too have struggled with the new pads. Very disappointing but I'm going to try some of the suggestions.
