Happy Black Friday!

Happy Black Friday...If you are out shopping at a crazy early hour, I hope you get lots of good deals!  I normally go out early, but this year I'm sleeping in and am not sure I'll shop at all unless it is on-line!  My mum and I have a tradition of going out together, but she is recovering (very well thankfully) from her knee replacement surgery.  Not quite well enough to shop until we drop though :).

We'll be having a lot more time with our family this weekend, but my first to do today is to take a photo of 32 people! It is a family friend...cross your fingers that it works out for me.

Before I go, I have two cards to share with you for the most recent Viva La Verve Sketches...once again I have had fun making them a bit more CAS.  I hope you like them!

  6. Both cards are gorgeous, Lynn! I always love your snowflake cards - so beautifully stamped! (As a matter of fact, I mentioned you in the description of my card here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/somecards/8183435287/in/photostream. I wanted to mention it because I don't think you've seen it yet.) Love your fabulous use of banners on the second card!

Your cards are just perfect! Really lovin' those pennants!

And good luck with the pics! I'm sure they went just fine ;). Hugs!

  10. I hope your photo shoot went well yesterday, and I'm glad to hear that your mother is recovering so nicely. These cards are amazing. I absolutely love the soft colors in your first card, and the use of the LID rectangle (I think?). And the second really packs a punch with the bold colors.

  12. How did the "photo shoot" go? I'm sure it was awesome, you're very talented with photos! I didn't end up going out yesterday, either. Thought about it, but didn't. I did buy a couple of stamp sets that were on sale online ;) I love the sentiment on that first card, the different fonts and words are great!
