Tomorrow is Another Day

The Craft's Meow is the sponsor for this weeks Stampin' Sisters in Christ challenge.  The challenge was to make a bright card.  I still have a few little pieces of this gorgeous paper pack from My Mind's Eye so the bright stripes plus the sentiment from TCM Inspired by Audrey set made the perfect card.  I finished it off with a touch of twine and a Stampin' Up brad.  Love when cards come together easily!

In other news, Marcel's biggest accomplishment of first grade is on the playground.  He proclaimed, "I can hang upside down on the monkey bars.  Isn't that SO AWESOME?"  Have to love the enthusiasm of a little guy!

WTG Marcel! :)

Love this card, Lynn! You know I adore that paper! Love the twine and brad - such a great little detail to finish your card - kinda like a cherry on top of a sundae!

Yay for Marcel! That IS huge! Along with talking and walking, it's neat to see their progression on the playground :) Give him a high 5 for me! Now, let's talk about that fabulous paper! So cheery that I'll keep telling myself this sentiment all day ;)

I have some diagonal striped paper and didn't know how to use it - I do now! Great card! A big congrats on the big playground achievement. I remember when my daughter was finally able to cross the monkey bars :) Love living life through kids!
