Thanks Ever So Much (and a shopping question)

Happy Monday!  We had such a beautiful weekend here.  The Fall weather arrived after a very hot and humid week and it was so welcomed!  Saturday night was really nice as we went over to some great friends and sat around a bonfire and caught up.  The perfect way to spend the evening.

I loved the color palette for this week's ColourQ and was happy to be able to play along with the challenge.  Thanks Arielle for keeping it open through Mondays!  At the same time, I'm using the sketch from Retro Sketches.

Now...onto my shopping question:  what is your favorite on-line store to shop?  I tend to go direct to stamp companies but am shopping less and less at Archiver's and am wondering about the on-line stores that sell paper packs, dies, etc.  Do you have a favorite?  Do they have good search capabilities?  I find some of the all in one on-line stores a bit overwhelming.  Your thoughts are welcome!

PS For those whose responded a few weeks ago about how they clean their stamps, I have moved away from the Stampin' Up cleaner and pad to baby wipes and have had significantly less inky fingers!  Thanks so much for the suggestion!

I love the color of the flower and leaves! So different :) As for shopping, I go directly to the stamp company also, they usually have the best deals on shipping or free shipping. Also Michaels. Sorry I can't help you with that question!

Wonderful use of the challenge colours Lynn. Is that blue background stamped or paper? I love the font of the sentiment too :)

Another Verve-tastic card! Gorgeous colors and love the natural twine.

For the most part I shop direct from the stamp companies but will go to Simon Says Stamp or occasionally scrapbook.com. I try to only look for specific items when I'm on those sites though. There's just too much stuff on there to try and browse!

Such a yummy card...love that magnificent bloom and the twine...perfect!

I'm a huge fan of Paper Issues...if you don't see what you want, you can convo with Cassie and she can probably hook you up!

It was definitely a glorious weekend around here, wasn't it? Your card is so beautiful, Lynn. Love those colors.
As far as online shopping I love All That Scraps. I have been shopping from them for years. They have very reasonable shipping. I have noticed they are not carrying as many paper pads as they used to. I am sure that if you ever needed something specific, you could ask. They are great communicators, and always willing to help.
I also recently purchased from Scrap Mart. Was very happy with the service. They have some great sales, too!
HTH!

Beautiful card, Lynn! Love that flower. Great take on both the challenges:)

I do online shopping all the time.I buy stamps direct from the company's website. Then I discovered that Simon Says Stamps Store sells many of the brands. So I made an order with SSS and bought stamps and dies of 4 different companies. A few dies were sold out at the company's website but available at SSS. I have not had any issues with SSS so far. International shipping cost is very reasonable too.

This is ever so pretty, Lynn! Gosh, you've made this color palette really shine! And that bit of twine is the perfect finishing touch!

You know my favorite place to shop is Wplus9 for stamps, dies, and cardstock! I've also had a lot of luck with Scrapbook.com, and they have a lot of variety! But I completely understand being overwhelmed there. It's great if you know what you're looking for specifically. Lately, Archiver's has been sending 43% off coupons, to my inbox, every week! I didn't used to shop there much, but they're getting more and more business with specials like that ;). I'm also a big Hobby Lobbyer. I like to see what I'm buying in person, before I buy it.

Oh! And the super cheep ($1) baby wipes at Walmart are my favorite for cleaning stamps. They don't leave fuzzy behind, and they always have lots of moisture for a good clean. Just thought I'd throw that in ;).

Have a GREAT week!

Oops! I said Walmart for wipes, but I meant ALDI. So sorry!

Fun card!

Overwhelming to online shopping - no kidding! So many companies out there, so many products. I comparison shop - [you always know what you are looking for.] I just found 100# card stock 95¢ difference per 25 sheets. That's alot! Google search is my best on-line shopping friend. :)

Lynn, I would definitely recommend simonsaysstamp.com! They not only have a HUGE variety of products, but I always get my order quite quickly - most times within three days, and their customer service is THE BEST!! It can be overwhelming looking at their sight in the beginning, but over on the left side, they have everything listed by categories and companies - they really do make it fairly easy to find what you're looking for.

Love your beautiful card! The colors on your flower and leaves are fabulous!

Simonsays stamps and Oh My Crafts have some great deals daily! I always enjoy your cards and hearing about your families adventures!

Such a pretty card. I need to try this baby wipe cleaning idea. I have had good experience with SSS, too.

The flower gives the card a burst of colour against the pale paper-just like the colours of Autumn!
So if you don't use the cleaner and baby wipes-what do you use now? xx

Lynn you card is stunning. I love the herringbone stamping and that gorgeous flower, is that Verve stamp? I am always searching for online store since brick or mortar are disappearing around me. Thank you so much for joining us this week at the colourQ!

Way to flash some Verve flowers :) Love your take on the sketch. I shop Canadian stores so not much help.

A few I know about but have not ordered from are ScrapMart (they ahve some some great daily deals - you can sign up for their e-mails) and A Cut at Home has a monthly 40% off coupon you can sign up for (you can use it on Spellbinders).

I love your card, Lynn!! Amazing pop of colors!
I usually shop at TwoPeas, but currently have a SSS order on its ways. I've always been a happy shopper at 2peas as well.

Hi Lynn! Love your card today! SO pretty with the brown leaves, and so fallish! :> Since I am in Canada and on the Dt I shop mostly at Scrapbookcafeonline.ca she is wonderful at getting hot stuff fast and will put aside what I ask her too, and order what I want! For example Memory Box Dies! BUT before I shoped at Simon Says Stamps. They are a really well run company. They have so much great stuff! You can call them and ask if something that is sold out will be there soon and when. They also get new things fast! AND they have tons of Memory Box and there own dies too which are awesome! Seriously go for SSS! They send coupons in your order too. And free shipping I think with $75. :>

Such pretty card! I love the warmer colours. I personally don't shop on-line that much because I am pretty close to a supply store. So nothing to share in that department. :(

Very pretty card, Lynn! I really like the light yellow card base here, it makes all the other colors pop. As for favorite online shops, I'm probably not of much help for you. Though I must say I'm tempted to get a card kit subscription at Studio Calico as to not think about shopping at all and spend more time creating.

Gorgeous, Lynn! Love what you've done with the color combo and the sketch!

Another beautiful card. I'll be watching to see what everyone says about shopping. Almost all of my supplies come from PTI. I love their stuff but would really like to add some different styles to my supplies.

What a beautiful card Lynn.

Oh, those stamps are not getting dusty in your studio :) LOVE this! What a perfect card for both the colour AND the sketch challenges. Okay, being from Canada, shipping charges and ease of crossing the border mean a lot to me :) I shop mostly at Ellen Hutson and Simon Says Stamping. Two Peas is too expensive to Canada because they put everything in a box like PTI. I also love Verve (of course!), MFT and WMS :) Excellent customer service all round!

Gorgeous card.

Love the warm color combo and twines! Just gorgeous! And I am adding to the list about Simon Says Stamps. For someone from Canada/ or anywhere, that is a great place to shop! They have everything and anything...watch out for your wallet!

Gorgeous card, Lynn, love how you used your colors! Can't answer your question, I try and buy as little as possible and use from my stash. But instead of baby wipes, I still use a cleaner, but with a soft old kitchen towel. Awesome card. Thanks for sharing your card with us at the colourQ this week.
