CAS-ual Fridays: B&W Plus One

How we are half way through September is beyond me!  Time is certainly flying...and I need to get a move on planning Marcel's 7th birthday party!  He has a new idea everyday on what he would like to do!  Oh to be almost seven...big choices :)

But back to my post for today.  We have another fun challenge for you at CAS-ual Fridays:  Black and White plus One Other Color.  I got some colored pencils from CARDS magazine for a publication and put them to use coloring the Paper Smooches flowers.  Added a bit of patterned paper to pull out the color a bit more.  I don't color often...but did enjoy creating this card!

The prize this week is a $20 Gift Certificate from Neat and Tangled...so be sure to pop in and share your creations with us.

Head on over to the CAS-ual Fridays blog to check out the design teams fabulous inspiration.

  1. Hi Lynn,
Yes, when you are turning seven, you have to make choices. Witch friends to invite, do you want a theme on your birthday, what kind of a party...? I wish you luck (-: giggle (-:

Your card is very beautiful! I love the blue colour and like the way you stamped the flowers.

    Have a happy weekend!
