Thanks So Very Much

Pink and green...one of my all time favorite color combos.  Add in chocolate chip and it's an even more heavenly combo for me!  Thanks Verve for a fabulous Color Challenge!  But let's chat...as this card took me forever!  The dies and stamping took no time at all, but that sentiment...hmmm...I stamped it crooked several times.  Then I thought I wanted a touch of pink spray mist...but the touch turned out to be too much and I tried again and still didn't like it.  So about four card bases later I ended up with this.  Still think maybe I should have used a different color for the sentiment!
I'm going to be stocking up on lots of thank you cards...my mum is going to have knee replacement surgery later this fall so I thought it would be nice to give her a nice big set of thank you notes.  And...since we're talking about nana/mum, I thought I'd share a few more vacation pictures
highlighting her!
Relaxing on the beach!

Relaxing as we wait for a table for dinner and the little boys are up in this trapeze type thing.  Check out the pictures below this one...no fear at all!

Not sure what the boys are doing...but they definitely were making us laugh!

Your card turned out just lovely! I hate it when it becomes such an involved process to turn out a decent card!
Looks like Pat gets along great with his mum-in-law... I wish! ;)

I love the stamped frame and sentiment! But I love sentiments in black or brown...those are my go to sentiment colours...I hear ya on the redo's when stamping on a base...very nerve wracking! The photos are adorable (when are they not?!) I especially love the one of you and mum...what great smiles :) I hope you put this one up in the studio :)

Such wonderful photos, Lynn! And what a great idea to create a bunch of thank you cards for you mom - if they all look as pretty as this one does, she'll adore them! :)

Hey, fellow CAS Diva! Well it seems like you're doing a fabulous job with the Anni-VERVE-sary challenges! Love this layout and those pretty flowers!
I'm glad it's not just me who has inky mishaps; my tag took three attempts due to wonky stamping! LOL!
Gorgeous pics - so many smiles! Those boys look right at home high up there! ;D
Hugs!

So pretty! I just completed a card and had similar problems! Mine was with my sewing machine! Several tries later, I used faux stitching instead! LOL!! Love those flowers and you used the colors beautifully!
