CAS-ual Fridays: Top of the Class

It's Friday!  And Michele has the perfect challenge for us over at CAS-ual Fridays!  We were back to school this week...this is our first year having all of the boys in school all day.  Quite strange to think that there are no little ones at home during the day!  They certainly grow up before our eyes.  So...it is perfect timing to make a school inspired card!  I had fun with different dies creating a CAS layered card. This card uses a variety of Verve and PTI stamps.  Love the traditional primary colors too!

In addition to having a fabulous sponsor we also have a new Girl Friday!  Be sure to pop over to Piali's blog...welcome her to the team and check out her gorgeous creations!

Our sponsor this week is Pretty Paper Studio!  Be sure to check out their site too...and you can win a fabulous gift certificate...so many fabulous goodies to choose from!

Since the theme this week is school related, I thought I would share a picture of the boys from the first day of school.  The little guys were all happy to go in the morning...our oldest was happy the night before and morning off...until we told him he needed to ride the bus versus ride with a friend's older sister...check out that face!  He was fine when he got home :)
Love how proud Marcel looks in this one...Collin is giggling about something!

The elementary school bus stop gang..each putting up the number of fingers for the grade they are in!

Come on over to CAS-ual Fridays and play along with us!  And...if you have a three day weekend, enjoy the extra time with your family!  Happy Labor Day to my American Friends!

. . .and I'm doubly glad I didn't miss THIS one! I was hoping we'd see photos of your boys the first day back - so cute!! My David doesn't want to ride the bus anymore either - it's sooo cool to arrive in a car, ya know! (rolling my eyes)

Lovin' your school card - so perfect with the colors, and I love the stars and cute design!

Happy back to school! What will Pat do with all of the extra "free" time? LOL!
Love the simple cluster of elements on your card, especially the way you paired the alpha frame and banner. Such a crisp design!

The kids look so cute!

I love the layers - the mixture of shapes and colors just meld together perfectly and the red twine is the perfect finishing touch, Lynn. :)

How's Pat doing? Suffering from empty nest syndrome yet?
