Just Us Girls #146: Color Challenge

It's Saturday...we're heading out to the Reds game this evening with my blogging friend, Sara and her hubby!  Really looking forward to an adult night out tonight!

Now...onto our challenge at Just Us Girls.  Andrea has a fabulous color combo for us. I have to admit to being a bit stumped until I watched one of the Stretch Your Stamps videos earlier this week.  I put distress inks on a crafting mat, sprayed a touch of water and then pressed water color paper to it.  After it dried, I die cut the butterfly. I masked off the top and bottom of the card and did the same thing to create the stripe across the card base.  Stamped my sentiment, added gems and off I went.  Have to say I'm really pleased with the end result!  This will be sent to a friend's son who just started his mission.

Please come play along with us at Just Us Girls.  We'd love to be inspired by you1
