If at first you don't succeed...

I love the color combos for the Embellish Challenges and the idea of a tea inspired card seemed fun to me.  Despite having a Scottish mum, I didn't think I had any tea cup stamps in the house...so I went to work on my first card, CASing Mariana's card here.  I'm okay with this, but I like Mariana's a lot better.

So fast forward to Monday night.  I wanted to use by PaperSmooches sets for the current Sparks Challenge and found that I do have a tea cup...or a soup mug and a "tea" sentiment.  And off I went creating again.

and then I decided maybe the tea need some tea.   What do you think?  Do you have a favorite?

Wow! Both these cards are beautiful! I love the soft colours and detail of the string for the tea bag in the first one. The second one is so cute and I like the way you've used part of the stamp to create a side border.

number 2 has to be the winner for me. The stamping on the edge is perfect and the little cup so sweet-is it earl gray or builders tea!!

I'm like a mom, how can I choose a favourite? I love the sweet little heart on the first one, the paper piercing/masking on the second and the bling on the third! Hmm, no tea cup? I see some shopping in order! Woohoo! It's Friday!! ;)

Great idea to use masking to follow the lines of the sketch and I think the pearls look great as steam from your cuppa :0)

I think I like the last one best... I have quite a few tea sets, they seem to go with all those coffee sets I keep "needing".

These are all so fun but #3 stole my heart. Amazing how much a little bit of bling adds to a card huh? :)
