Oil Painting...

I mentioned in my posts from earlier this week that my Nana is amazingly talented.  I thought it would be fun for you to see a couple of pictures of her studio!  She has lots of goodies tucked away in there. One of the things we worked on while I was there was an oil painting. I've never done an oil painting in my life :).  Her idea was to do a picture of "One in Many" to represent my love for Patrick.  Yes, Nana is a hopeless romantic.  So...the main sunflower in the patch of sunflowers represents Pat.  He got a good laugh out of this.

And here's the finished product...not quite dry, so she'll be mailing this to me...

And I thought it would be fun to send her a sun flower thank you card.  The layout is from this week's Retro Sketch.  I'll be using this sketch for a while.  I loved the layout!

As for the card, I love it! I totally need to CASE this. I have this set and have not used it much, if at all.

Best of luck to Ryan at tryouts!
