One Sketch...Two Cards...

Hey there, we had a busy weekend...which means not much crafting for me this weekend, but I do have cards to share that I made a few weeks ago! For each card I embossed the back panel with my PTI linen impression plate, made banners with yummy patterned papers and stitched them onto the white panel.  I then added a sentiment panel and a few buttons and the cards were finished.  I really love both of them!

One of the reasons we were busy (in addition to Ryan's confirmation retreat, a birthday party for Collin's friend, show choir and baseball practice!) was a 15k that my friend Katie and I ran in on Sunday morning.  We're training for a 1/2 marathon in early May...and let me tell you after the 9 miles yesterday, I've got by work cut out for me!  I took a big long nap after the run.  Here we are pre-race!

Both gorgeous cards Lynn. Wow so proud of you in the run, I wish I could run, but my back hardly allows me to walk without pain. I ran when I was young.....
Have a good day.
Hugs,
Judy

wow!! You sure know how to pack a lot into a weekend!! LOVE those cards and am thinking it's your fabulous camera that lets us see the linen impression...it's very hard to see it when I take photos. Do you use a crease pad or 2 tanning mats? LOVE the half and half dies and the stitching on those banners!!

I love the combination of the patterned papers that you chose to work with on BOTH cards. And that linen IP gives it that bit of texture that is nice. Great job! Can't believe you ran those 9 miles - WOW! Good luck as you continue to train.

Eeks! Totally love how fun these cards are! Great colors on both but I really love the pink and browns! Love that sweet bit of stitching and a part of the die cut off!

You know, running to my mailbox, is probably the most running I've done in a while! I am so lazy at exercising! I am so proud of you for participating in an upcoming marathon!
