Happy New Baby

Happy Wednesday.  I  have a very simple paper pieced baby card to share with you today.  I made it several weeks ago, but it had never made it to the old blog.  The scalloped card was from Archiver's.  I love how easy it is to dress it up with a bit of patterned paper on the inside. I'm entering this in the current CAS-ual Fridays challenge.  Hope you like it (and I'm sorry for the poor picture).

And if your up for a giggle today...check out Collin's ears. We were crafting last night and he came up with the gems on his ears.  He wanted to keep them on...I was a laughing, but was a little firm.  You don't leave the house with these on!

I really love the patterned paper behind those scallops! Adds that bit of contrasting interest that matches the paper-piecing. Simple and sweet.

LOL, oh, gem earrings was bound to happen with all the time he likes to spend in the studio :) He's very "beautiful" and I like that he kept them small and elegant to go with his outfit :) LOVE that scalloped paper! Gives the card a real softness :) Hey! Any updates on the studio? Tony and his son mounted my t.v. on the wall last night. My light tent is too big so I'll look into a smaller one soon :)

Love this card, Lynn. The scalloped edges, that designer paper, and how you paper pieced the sailboat all add up to a perfect card.

Cute card, he can't leave the house, but he is all over blog land - LOL!!! I really LOVED it when my boys (now 22 and 17) would craft with me and find interesting new ways to use my products!

What a great inspiration! I've got a few cute toy stamps that would really pop on a card if I paper pieced them. Thanks so much!
