Valentine's Day Box!

Hi there...Valentine's Day is fast approaching and Collin was more than ready to make his Valentine's Day box for school.  You can see he used the treat box I made for last week's Just Us Girls Challenge.  He taped it to the front for "extra treats".  He had so much fun making his box.  Punching out hearts and writing little love messages, "Love" "Kiss!" on them and then added a few streamers.  This little box has made it's way to school and he is very anxious for the 14th to come!
I also have a card to share with you for this week's ColourQ Challenge.  I took the traditional Valentine colors and used them for a birthday card.  We're having a girl's night out to celebrate my dear friend, Katie's 40th birthday!  It is sure to be a great girls night out!  Tomorrow night we'll be celebrating my niece's birthday...and we have First Communion class with Collin!  Busy weekend...what are you up to?

Collin did a great job decorating his box. I wonder if everyone will try to stuff some into the "special" compartment! Beautiful card, the colors are wonderful for even beyond Valentines. My little guy used many old stamps and many many many ink pads to decorate his Valentine bag. Its a work of art for sure!

I can just imagine the joy on Colin's face :) We will make little heart folders in class for our Valentines ;) LOVE that card! Did you get the half and half dies? LOVE the white banner they create and stamping on kraft is a favourite of mine...stunning!

Collin is a very talented crafter!
The stamps on the card are lovely and gorgeous colours. I also like the way you have wrapped the twine.
Have a great girlies night out-and behave!!

Looks like you're grooming a future crafter! What a fun project for school--I wish ours did something similar.
Love that Half & Half die cut on your card, especially the way you wrapped it with twine. Fab stamping on the kraft, too!

Love that you made a birthday card instead of a Valentine and Collin's Valentine box is so cool!

It's my mom's and Luis' birthdays today so we're going for a nice dinner tomorrow night. I won't be seeing much of Luis otherwise as he'll be playing with all the new tools he got!
