Hey There

I'm not sure why my picture looks foggy...but it does! I'm going with it as I don't feel like running back down to my craft room to take another picture! I love this week's ColourQ combo. Honestly, I would never think to put vanilla and white together. So...it stretched me a bit, but I'm pleased with the outcome. I also got to put my new WPlus9 dies to use! And the last detail, I used the other side of my PTI linen impression plate. Aren't you impressed? The embossing doesn't quite line up and I know I shouldn't point that out...but it does bug me!

Anyways...other crafts going on in our house are Pine Wood Derby cars. Collin and Marcel have their Indian Guides race with Pat this weekend. We have a Lego car and F14 being constructed! Last year Collin won for his tribe so the bar has been set for daddy to make another fast car!

Hope all is well in your neck of the woods!

PS My flickr question got resolved.  Thanks Sandie!

LOL And sometimes by stamping on the wrong paper and not wanting to restamp!! i'm classic for that! Sending fast wishes to those boys and their toys!! LOL

photo doesn't look foggy to me! I like the vanilla and white combo. I tried it recently and found it a challenge also but like the end result. I layout of this card is so simple but so elegant. It has given me a few ideas-so thank you!

Thanks for reminding me about that "other" side of the impression plate....I have it and rarely use it! Also, I have just ordered those WPlus9 dies and can't wait to try them out, so this is a great card for me to CASE! I should try this color combo for ColourQ. Anyway, great job!!

So cute! I rarely use that side of the impression plate, too. I love how you pieced different colours together.

I love how you used the colours Lynn, that sweet little birdhouse is just too cute :0)
We both used the canvas side of the IP plate too, I love that cross-hatch pattern as much as the linen side.
Hope you're having fun with the cars!

Love this design and that cute little birdhouse! I have a huge wish list at WPlus9 that includes this latest release. I love the way the debossing doesn't line up perfectly--I think it fits so well with your funky sentiment! Thanks for playing along with us this week at the ColourQ!
