One Stamp Three Ways

Happy Friday everyone! I am absolutely loving the Clean & Simple Card Making class.  Yesterday's class was about using a single stamp multiple ways.  It definitely helps stretch your stamps.  I purchased the PTI Tree Toppers set last month and I think I've only inked it up once.  So...I decided to use the circles from one of the tree tops.  This first card shows using the stamp in a very traditional way as the tree leaves.  I pulled out the linen impression plate again and inked up the edges for a little more depth.  In real life the tree colors are a bit darker than the photo shows.
I then used the same stamp as a background.  I paired it up with two other PTI sets.  I think this card will go to my niece, Madeleine, who turns 19 (how did that happen?!) tomorrow.

Finally, I used the stamp again as a background but tried to create stripes. The sentiment is from Verve.
Like I said earlier, I am really enjoying this class! Look for more samples to come!  And...I'd love to hear which one you like best and why :)!

Happy Friday!

I Like them all - but I think the third one is my favorite - all the different colors of the stamp, the different colored ribbons and the beautiful bow. Madeleine will love it.

I love this clean & simple stuff!!! I love that you used the circle stamp 3 different & unique ways. Thanks so much for sharing. I'm saving your posts to give me some inspiration for using my stamps in a clean & simple way. Sometimes I try to get too complicated!

Yummy cards! Such a clever use of one single stamp, I need to try this much more, make my dollars worth it for all the money we spend on this hobby, hah? I'm still drooling over your yellow card below, *sigh*.

Wow! Such mileage out of one stamp! I love it! I really like all three, but I especially like the third one because it is just so unique. I love the tiers of color and the cardstock strips. I also like the color combo you chose. Way to go!

Wonderful cards, Lynn! I am partial to the first one, I like the texture and the way you used the circles as the tree branches. Thanks for the package! I'll let you know when it arrives. OBTW, how would I find you on the PTI boards? I just made an account there, and I'm looking for my friends! :)
