Happily Ever After...

**Card Removed for Publication**

Happy Wednesday!  The work week is almost half over and I'll be heading home from my work trip at the end of the day.  Here's hoping for no delays on my way home!

I''m popping in to share a card for the current challenge over at Jay Gee's Nook. Looking at this card, I really wish that I had used zig zag instead of straight stitching, but we have to remember to share the cards we like but may not love. This falls into that category.   I think the inspiration photo below has so many glorious ideas!  I went with the photo in bottom middle row as my primary inspiration, but there are truly a ton of jumping off points for this card!
Hope you get a chance to give it a try and that your week is going well!

The card is lovely with the image stamped in natural tones. Did you use versamark or coloured ink? Safe travels on the way home Lynn. Thanks for joining in with the challenge :)

Lovely clean card, Lynn. I love those dogwoods - you can colour them or use them monochromatically like you have here and they're stunning!! Nearly home...enjoy spending time with your boys again. xx

Love this monochromatic card and I really love that image. Who makes it? It's funny, sometimes the cards I post that I'm kind of indifferent about end up being the most popular with other people. Go figure... Have a safe trip home!

oh, I don't think I will ever get tired of kraft...and those lovely flowers look perfect there. I don't know, I like the straight stitching...I think zigzag would have made it to busy...this way it is elegant and serene (hmm...I've been saying that a lot! It's how I feel at home :) Safe travels and hope the flights go well with better seating!!

I love the stitching as it is....I agree with Mo, I think zig zag may have been too busy. Love the simplicity of the design as that stamp does all the talking!
