Show Choir Debut

Hi there.  "Show Choir Mom" here checking in to share a few pictures of Ryan from Show Choir.   So fun...and I seriously can't wait to go to their competitions later this year.  They sounded great after just a couple months of practice.  And the best part is all of their smiles.  I am so proud of Ryan for trying something new. He is putting in a ton of time practicing before school and at home.  This week is their choreography weekend.  They'll be working with a choreographer for about twenty hours.  Talk about a commitment!  I'll be sure to share more soon!

And...guess what?  Yesterday my day started with some serious happy news.  I won the entire Verve release from last week.  Yes...I was the random commenter that one!  I was so happy when Moe emailed me and when I saw the post with my own eyes!  So, what better time to share some Verve!  This card is for the current Viva La Verve Sketch Challenge.  Thanks so much Julee & Verve for your generosity!  Can't wait to get my new goodies.

  8. I think I was just about as excited as you!! When you think about the odds...13 Divas, about 65 comments on each blog...ah, meant to be? And it wasn't even me picking!! I had no control over that! Oh, I wish I could see Ryan perform...I love that he's loving it too :) Helps with the motivation, eh? Is it less stressful than watching him play sports? or in a different way? Love those flowers!! And I love that sentiment...might be my thought for the day :) hugs!

  11. Your card is just gorgeous, Lynn. I am so glad to hear that Ryan likes show choir. It is a HUGE commitment, but so worth it. My baby sis is a show choir director at her high school, and I LOVE watching the shows and going to competitions. So much fun! :0)

  13. Congrats on your big win! Love this wonderful card. Such a great take on the sketch.

Show choir mom huh? Me too! We have to talk. I'm overwhelmed with the commitment (it's a lot for middle school), but my daughter loves it. We'll actually be coming to your area for a competition in February (I think).
