Merry Christmas!

Hi there!  Welcome again to our My Time Made Easy Pretty Palette Challenge.  Don't this week's colors inspire you to create a Christmas card?  I love grid patterns...and the Puckered Paper set is perfect for a grid.  The sentiment is from the Secret Santa set.  I finished off the grid with some gems...yummy and a big bow.  To add a bit of texture I also embossed the white panel (before putting on the gems :)!)  Not sure if you can see that or not!  Hope you like it!  And...I'd love to hear how you create your Christmas cards?  One design for everyone, photo cards, what do you prefer to send to friends and family?
Be sure to also pop in and see all the designs of the other design team members.

So pretty, Lynn! Love the split design with that beautiful bow and the added gems look wonderful!

I do both. . .I make many different cards from now until I mail them out. I like to use all my Christmas stamps, so I end up making all kinds of cards. As it gets closer to the holiday, I've never created enough, so that's when I figure out a simpler design and finish the rest, all the same.

oh my!! LOVE that grid pattern with all the bling...hmmm...this would go great in the guest room ;) I am so into making Fall cards right now I'm having a hard time thinking of winter cards :) I probably won't start them until we move...then it will be some custom made one of a kind ones for 'special' friends and then one of 4 designs for the 'list' of people :) Is Darth Vader ready? LOL

Love how you added the tiny rhinestones to the grid design, Lynn. I used to mass produce the same design for everyone, but now I just send out the cards I have made for challenges and what not. I definitely have more fun doing it this way. I like to go through my pile and hand pick cards for certain people. When I would mass produce the same design, it would almost seem like tedious work after awhile.
Have a great day! :)

Thinking back on it, I'm not sure I sent out Christmas cards last year. If I did, it was one created with digital scrapbooking elements and then I got them printed at the discount store. Your card is amazing, the touch of red gems is just diving.

Hi Lynn!! Love how you used the Palette colors on this card! The added rhinestones really makes this card elegant! Unfortunately, I posted my card 2 minutes too late to get on the blog...taught me a lesson! Have a great day girl!!

Now this is a fab CAS Christmas card - love those splashes of red with the gems! Of course I love the impression plate too ;D
I'm thinking up a couple of designs for my own Christmas cards and I'll make a few batches of each (I'll get too bored making the same card over and over!) and then I'll send 'em to my family and friends (including international friends *wink*)
Hugs,
Aimes

This is so pretty! And it would be the perfect design to mass produce! I usually do a few designs and create a few of each design. I like to mix it up since I have so many Christmas stamps to choose from!

Stunning card. Love the bow. The rhinestones really finish the grid pattern perfectly.

Love the touch of gems on that pattern and the linen impression! :)
Sounds weird but I haven't sent Christmas cards in years. Perhaps it's time to change that!
