The Little Sister

Popping in with a card to share for no particular reason or challenge...just a card I made that I like...very similar to the Embellish Challenge card I shared with you here.

So...onto my title post.  I'm the little sister.  The baby.  Yes...the spoiled one.  And the blessed one with two fabulous older brothers.  The three of us are very different, yet very similar.  We love fiercely, we value family about anything else, we're very loyal and we like to give each other a hard time (yes...they will tease me about this blog post).  And we're all very blessed with wonderful spouses and healthy children.

For many years, we all worked together.  I mean "all".  My dad, mom, brothers and me.  And for a few years, even my oldest brother, Neal's, mother-in-law worked with us.  And believe or not, it went very well.  Not without some conflict, but overall we were all successful and happy.

Today, we're still very lucky as we live and work close by one another.  Yesterday my day wasn't too busy so I popped them an email and we were able to catch up for lunch. I'm thankful for my time with them.  Love them with all my heart...even when they remind me that yes, I am the spoiled baby sister.  I wouldn't trade my place in the line up for anything.

Here's a really old picture of the three of us with our mum...I have lots of pictures of us...but not together.  This one is from four years ago when my mum took us all to Scotland to see where she grew up!

That's a gorgeous photo, Lynn! Brothers wouldn't be brothers if they didn't pick on us! :)

I enjoy reading about your family Lynn. For a brief moment I though you were announcing an addition to YOUR family! How wonderful it must have been to be picked on by your older brother, it must mean that they love you to no end. Your card is so very beautiful. Those blooms are downright gorgeous and the texture that the misting and burlap brings is amazing.

Once again we have something in common. All my brothers and sisters live right here in the same state, very close to one another. Isn't that a wonderful, rare blessing?!

Love your beautiful card today, Lynn! Fabulous texture! Have a great weekend! :)

Love your card. It's so pretty.
How wonderful that you have such a close relationship with your brothers. I love mine but we are not the closest of families. Still when we do get together it's a a fun time.
