PaperTrey Ink Blog Hop!

For my MTME post, please click here.
Good morning!  It's the 25th and that means its time for another PaperTrey Ink Blog Hop.  I have to admit the inspiration photo stumped me a bit this month.  I kept looking at the colors of the stripes and the depth the stripes created, but couldn't decide what to do.  So...for this card, I kept it very simple.  I decided to use glitter to try and create a bit of depth with much softer colors.  I then added my new Congrats stamp (love the font and the size...look for this to be used a lot).  And the rest was history...added some flowers and a couple of gems.  I also have to share that this is my first order of Vintage Cream cardstock...how I did without that I'm not sure (Thanks Moe for introducing me to it...I am now addicted!)
For my next card, I tried to use create the depth of the stripes by using negative images of the dies.  I ignored the colors from the inspiration photo, but tried to create the depth.  Does that make sense?  What do you think? :)
Happy blog hopping!  Can't wait to see all your gorgeous creations!

Lynn these are two wonderful cards! I LOVE your congrats card. The glitter colors are perfect and elegant. I cannot believe that you didn't have Vintage Cream cs before now. You'll be ordering more before you know it.

Both cards are great. I had trouble with this inspirational image too. Didn't like the colors. I love the colors you chose for the first card. The glitter is neat too.
for the Chrismas card, I love how you added the depth with the negative image. Great!!
