A Tribute to Gallery Idol - Laurie Style

Before I get to my card for today, I have a favor to ask.  If you are so inclined, please stop by Janelle's blog and offer a prayer up for her. I'd really appreciate it.  Although Janelle and I have never met in person, I can personally attest to her tremendous faith and caring heart and I am a big believer in the power of prayer which she needs right now.  Thanks so much.

The fabulous ladies over at PaperTrey Paper Doll are hosting a blog hop in honor of the super talented Laurie Willison.  I was lucky enough to meet many of the PaperTrey Paper Doll ladies at Stamp-a-Faire and hope one day soon to meet Laurie in person.  She is super talented!  This card is a tribute to her card here...which I absolutely loved.

I'm so impressed with all of the Gallery Idol participants...wow!  And way to go Laurie!  You are definitely an Idol in my book!

Oh I spotted this fab card as a Laurie Willison-eque creation straight away! Love your colouring on the butterfly :)

Lovely card today! The texture, those embossed squares and the pretty butterfly, all come together so beautifully!

I'm making my card for Janelle today....just finishing up some release stuff :) Love that little snippet of the medallion on the butterfly and your 3 white squares...just the right amount of texture :)

I just heard about Janelle on the PTI forum. Heartbreaking news, but I know that her faith will carry her through. Lifting her up in prayer.
