Misting Fun!

A reminder to check here to see if  you were the winner of my blog candy...

For months, I have adored the misting that Karen Baker does on her cards.  Her ability to use the variety of misting inks is truly inspiring.  So...last week I popped in Archiver's and decided it was time to take the plunge.  I picked up a pink and a green color and then the next day went back for some blue...so you'll be seeing quite a few misted cards this week.

The first one is for the current CAS-ual Fridays Challenge to use stickers.  I love how clean and simple this Christmas card turned out.  I used an SRM sticker from my stash for the sentiment and added just a couple of gems.

My next card isn't for a particular challenge...but I wanted to play around with the misters a bit more so I added another Christmas card to my stash.  I hope your week gets off to a great start!

Oh my goodness, my jaw has hit the floor! These are spectacular Lynn! Both are utterly gorgeous! So soft and subtle but with a touch of bold too! Your first card for the CAS-ual Fridays Challenge is out of this world (thanks for playing along) and the second is so peaceful! Yeah for misting!

Well I'd have thought you'd been misting for a while from these cards!
I LOVE the first one! So fabby and CAS with those pops of red (super combo for Christmas!) and your second is so soft and pretty!
Thinking I may play with my mist (I only have one!) today but find that everything (including myself!) gets covered in it! LOL!
Hugs,
Aimes

Misting definitely agrees with you! I especially love it behind the snowflakes on your "peace" card--just like a soft snowfall. Hmmm...I guess I should actually use some of the mist I bought months ago!

wow! It looks like you are an expert already! What does the garbage can look like? lol Did you hold the paper in your hands or with tweezers? I really need to practise...I always get too many blotches :) Yeah, 2 more Christmas cards down!! You are so good :) Love the bling placement on the first and the snowflakes on the second :) Am just up and having coffee in my new mug :D Will leave in about an hour and a half :) Tony comes home today from Wisconsin so I'll have a buffer with dad ;) Hugs!

Very fun cards! Love what you did with the misting! I only have 1 misting red bottle that I won from simply leaving a comment and have yet to use it, will give it a try!
