In Love with Cherry Cobbler...

When I think about my "go to" colors, Stampin' Up's Cherry Cobbler is definitely one of them.  Another "go to" element is damasks.  My PTI Damask Designs is definitely a well used set.  So...I thought I'd share two more Christmas cards highlighting those two favorites...red and damask.  How are your Christmas cards coming along? Do you make them or send photo cards?  Do you do all one design or a variety?

I'd love to hear what you do!  Last year was the first year I made a variety of cards versus a single design.  It sent me to the wire in making them, but I loved having more of a variety to choose from.

Both gorgeous cards Lynn. The second is my favourite... love the twine and the 'Joy' sentiment.

You are so good making Christmas cards already. I am a procrastinator. Your cards are just beautiful, Lynn. Love what you did with the twine on the second one. :)

Gracious, girl! You're brave! What a daunting task, but you've sure given it a beautiful beginning! These cards are stunning! I'm sticking to photos and a Christmas letter ;). I think having to make lots and lots of Christmas creations would take the joy out of cardmaking for me, although, having each one different might be fun. Hmmmm?! Hugs!

Looks so good!! Both of them! Usually I'm starting to make all different ones, until I run out of time. :) Can't think about X-mas just yet however! I usually start about three weeks in advance - all unorganised, and of course then run out of time :)

Your cards are beautiful, I think cobbler and damask are a neat combo and you've made them look so elegant yet!

Red is one of my favorite colors too-especially with cream, black and kraft! Your cards are wonderful! Last year a few people got photo cards and others got various handmade ones. :)

Gorgeous cards Lynn and that Cherry cobbler is a lovely colour, Red is a hard colour to get right in ink I think...hey I'm a poet!
I would love to make one design card but when it comes to it I have a few ideas I need to try. This will be my first Christmas with a blog and challenge cards to make so it should be easier...eh?

Cherry Cobbler is definitely on my favourites list too. Love your cards, especially how you have used the twine. My one design card is coming together much earlier this year! I also write a family letter to go with it.

I like Cherry Cobbler too - such a great rich red. These are both gorgeous! Love the lacey touch on the bottom of the first one and the cute snowflakes on the second.

I used to be obsessive about Christmas cards and then for some reason I stopped and haven't sent any in the last 5 years or so. I really have no excuse for not getting back into it huh?

Both of these are beautiful, Lynn! Cherry Cobbler is a favourite of mine, too, but I haven't used it in a while. I usually make a lot of different Christmas cards but sometimes I make a set of one design in between the singles.
