With Heartfelt Sympathy

I'm a bit addicted to little strips of papers on my cards as I have on my card today. Two other examples here and here.  I love the way the paper strips offset the design just slightly but aren't so thick that they over power the card design.  This card is for the Embellish Text Color Challenge sponsored by Hero Arts.  In addition to the stripes, this Hero Arts French Script gets a lot of use from me.  The flowers are Hero Arts too.  Not typical colors for me, but I love the soft subtle tones for a sympathy card.

Very pretty card. Great choice for a sympathy card as well. Love your strips idea...it's also a good way to use up some scraps. :) Great job.

Hi Lynn,
I think the strips add so much as well. I love your design.
Have a great day.

I love those strips too and the way you have them going off the card base a bit :) Now, doesn't the studio look small to you? Tony told the framers what I said and they said, "is she crazy?" The kitchen will be HUGE though...lots of space to mix those martinis when you and Aimes visit ;)
