Verve Challenges

Good morning!  I hope all the fathers/husbands in your lives had a wonderful day yesterday.  I know my hubby had a nice relaxing day.  He read quite a bit of his book and took a nap.  It was extra nice not to be in a rush to go anywhere.

I need to start my day by wishing my wonderful friend, Sandy, happy birthday!  I can't post her card yet...as I need to make sure she has received it!   Happy Birthday Sandy!

I'm also popping in with a couple of cards for some recent Verve Challenges.  The first one is for the Get Your Diva On Challenge.
My second card is for the Viva La Verve Sketch Challenge.  Using more of the My Mind's Eye Lime Twist Paper and Verve's To the Moon set.

Hope you like them both!

  1. Such beautiful cards! I am so in love with MME Lime Twist papers. :) I don't own any Verve stamps...you are enabling me! :) Will have to check them out.

  2. Love how you framed your image for this sketch. Such a pretty shadow box effect. The papers are a perfect match for those cute kites!

  3. I love them both! Love the bright colours of the papers, those popped up little kites, and that Dr. Seuss sentiment is brilliant! :)

  5. Now THAT'S some colour!! If that doesn't bring out the sunshine, nothing will!! I even spy some stitching!! It sounds like participants are eyeing the shopping around Cincinnati!! I'm so lucky I'll have my own personal tour guide :) Should we start that countdown on the 23rd? ;)
