A Color Cue Thank You

I love Dawn's Color Cue Challenges. Her color choices are always fabulous.  Today's card took the butterfly that I die cut for this card as the focal point.  I'm terrible about using scraps (my card club friends always give me a hard time about it) so I had to use it right away.  The other scraps I used were the paper strips from the My Mind's Eye Stella and Rose paper pack. I've used just about every last bit of that paper! The colors and patterns are gorgeous.

Funny story to share today too.  Over the weekend, I told Jonathon I was going to run out to get a quick pedicure.  His response, "Mom, you know at the entrepeneur fair at school Miss Rodier painted nails.  She didn't even go to school to learn how to do that.  She just knows how and she even paints her own nails."  I had to walk away to stop from laughing.  I quite often paint my own nails, but rarely use color on my finger nails.  And sometimes a girl just likes a little pampering...  I think I'll just keep letting Jonathon believe that I don't know how to paint my finger or toe nails :)!

Love this pretty card. Go you for using up your scraps! I'm bad about it too. My scrap pile is more of a scrap mountain.

LOL! Luis is the same - can't understand why I would pay someone to do something I could do myself. Boys are funny. :)

wow! I had to look at the blog header to make sure I was at the blog with the lady with 4 boys!! That pink is fabulous! What a sweet little butterfly scrap that I'm sure is very happy to be on this card :) LOL, I paint my own nails too, but you're right, sometimes you just want to be pampered! Okay, pedicures on the list of things to do when you visit ;) Check!

So pretty! I try to use my fav scraps right away, too, otherwise, they get lost in "the pile."

I've heard that some boys, or I really should say men, really enjoy those pedicures after they've experienced their first. Maybe he could go with you one day? Your card is beautiful as always, I completely admire your use of pattern papers.
