Shop Til We Drop!

My mum and I are heading out at 6:30 this morning to get going on our Christmas shopping started.  We're really not good bargain hunters like so many of the crazy Black Friday shoppers in the states, but it's our tradition and our time together...so off we go!  If you're heading out to the stores, be safe and have fun!

I have some inspiration to share from the latest Embellish Challenge.  I keep thinking I need to add a little sentiment tag to this card...but I'm not sure.  Let me know what you think!  I am in love with these colors...may just have to create another card or project for this challenge.  I am about half way through my Christmas cards that I need to make...so look for lots more Christmas inspiration over the next couple of weeks!
Ingredients:  Stampin' Up Pink Pirouette Paper, Cherry Cobbler Paper, Chocolate Chip Ribbon, PaperTrey Ink Buttons, BasicGrey Sizzlit Snowflake and DSP

What a great card! I'm really liking that snowflake! The colors are something I need to try!
No shopping here this morning....may try to head out to Michael's and Joann's (which are located right by eachother, but I'm not looking forward to the traffic). Hope you got some deals!!

this looks like a warm wooly sweater :) I could use that right now, although it has warmed up considerably today (-3 celsius). Sometimes I add a sentiment on a little flag or if the patterned paper is light enough, just stamp a bold one directly on it. Good luck and have fun today :) I need to experience a Black Friday once in my life!! LOL hugs :)

When I first saw this month's color combo, I was intrigued because pink and red are not something normally put together but look great with their pics! Your project demonstrates this further!

You combined the colours so perfectly. Such a great card. Thanks for playing along with Embellish.

p.s....I live in Canada so no Black Friday for me but I will say that if I lived in the US I'd be one of those people in a 4am line up. lol.
