Masculine Thank Yous

Happy Tuesday Everyone...can you see the happy dance I'm doing?  I received an honorable mention in the most recent Embellish Challenge....makes me very happy!

On to some new cards!  I needed some more masculine thank yous this week and decided to play along with the Just Us Girls for this first one.  I used my favorite PTI Turning a New Leaf set and some of my new SU Colors - Crumb Cake is one of my new favorites for the stamped leaves.

The second card is my first attempt at using cork...how is everyone cutting their cork?  I tried to put it through my Sizzix, but it was too thick.  Ideas are certainly welcome!  Again...stuck with the PTI Turning a New Leaf set and played along with the Sweet Sunday Sketch challenge!  Hope everyone is having a great week...

  1. Love these Lynn!!! The sSSC card is gorgeous. I'm loving using COrk at the moment. I put mine through my Big Shot and it cut no probs, otherwise I just use my scissors and HOPE that I cut straight!! hahaha

  3. These are both wonderful! I was just looking at my Turning a New Leaf paper pad today (haven't used it in a long time), thinking it will be great to soon pull out for some fall cards :)

  5. Ooooh nicely done Lynn - love working with cork - I run mine through my CB with nesties and it works ok for me. Thanks for gettin' sketchy with JUGS this week - we appreciate you! Love the CAS look of your card.

  6. Love the masculine look...always a hard one to master :) for me, anyways :) And congrats on the Embellish shout out!!! I find it a tough judging panel...so congrats, so well deserved :) I cut my cork with my cuttlebug as well. I haven't tried to do panel, but think the thin cork I use would work in my SU guillotine.
