On the Mound...

...there is nothing Ryan loves better than playing baseball.  Conversations around the house are about throwing players out at second when he's catching...or what pitches he is improving on...knuckle ball, change up, fast ball.  He wanted to time his pitches on the speed sign that's in our neighborhood...unfortunately it never seemed to be on so he didn't get a chance to try it!  He loves the movie, The Rookie, so he desperately wanted the sign to be turned on and recreate what Kevin Costner did as The Rookie!

Here are a few pictures of him on the mound this year...it was a good game!  Only two runs scored!

Thanks to My Little Sketch Blook for another great layout!

That is such a cute story, we love that movie too. My boys played baseball and loved it, I miss those days. My girls tried softball but didn't like it so they are into basketball now. You did a wonderful job on this page!

What a great series of photo's. So glad your son enjoys sports. Our kids weren't really into sports, they tried a few but got discouraged when they only made the (B) squads.
Coleen is dying to try learning Soccer.
