Madeleine's Prom

I love blog surfing...and I happened across the My Little Sketch Blook.  Great scrapbooking layout inspiration.  I decided to play along with their May Sketch challenge.  Love the layout and it fit perfectly with supplies I already had.

My niece, Madeleine, had her junior prom a couple of weeks ago.  She ordered her dress on-line from China (I would never have the nerve to have order my prom dress on-line!...then again my junior prom dress had a big hoop skirt!).   Her dress arrived a few days before prom...and it was absolutely stunning.  Actually, everything was stunning!  Her hair was done up in a variety of braids.  I loved it!

Most importantly, she and Brad had a great time at the dance and after prom!  Hope you enjoy the pictures/layout!

P.S.  Jill asked me where I got the scallops for this card.  Jill, thanks for all your great comments - I really appreciate them.  The scallops are from PaperTrey Ink's large scallop die.

Ingredients:  Making Memories DSP; K&Co Letters; Sizziz Flourish Die; PTI Buttons; SU Blush Blossom and Tempting Turquoise Paper

Beautiful layout, beautiful girl (don't show your niece or she'll want the layout...hee!) This makes me want to scrapbook and the blog you mentioned is full of wonderful ideas so thanks for passing it on! Thank you also for telling me where you the scalloped border came from. I do so enjoy you sharing all of your creative goodness!
