You Float My Boat

Isn't this little boat adorable? I won the CPS challenge a few weeks ago and was lucky enough to get a gift certificate to Clean & Simple stamps.  I decided to make sure I picked out stamps that were different than anything I already had.  So, I picked out this set with the sweet little boat and also one for graduation.  I have zero graduation stamps!
For the waves, I used some Core'dinations cardstock and a Tim Holtz Sizzix die.  Love how they are uneven like real waves.  The layout is inspired by this week's Clean & Simple sketch too.  It's been way too long since I've played along with one of their challenges!

I also wanted to share a couple of pictures of Madeleine showing off her ring from her birthday and yesterday's card!
And another picture with me and the birthday girl...since I am normally behind the camera!

what a sweet little card!! and a gorgeous ring for a gorgeous young lady!! Sorry to hear you had to work today...is it because you are the boss or your office doesn't close for holidays? My day wasn't too bad...no staff meeting sure helped. I love to just putter around my classroom after class :)
