We Loved Because He First Loved Us

The weather has been very nice here this week...low 70s.  The days are much nicer when the boys can go outside and play.  The trees are changing colors and are just gorgeous!  I love this time of year!

My card today is for Dawn's Raspberry Color Suite Challenge.  Dawn's creations are always just gorgeous.  I have to admit that I always struggle with what to do with the various colors.  This time I am making this card for the parents of a boy who is fighting cancer.  I don't know Ethan personally but my cousins babysat for him over the years.  He's now 18 and is battling cancer for the third time in his life.  I don't know a lot of Bible verses by any means, but love this verse.  I first bought this stamp about five years ago when my dad passed away for thank you notes I made for me and my mom to use.  I've used it many many times over the years and thought it was very appropriate for Ethan's mom and dad.

A few fun details...do you like the ruffle with the scallop punch?  I got that idea from this post.   Happy Fall!  Hope you are having some beautiful Fall weather too!

Thanks for visiting my blog. Love your wonderful card and I really like the scallop ruffles! I don't add a lot of frilly things so this would be perfect when a ruffle is needed. The verse is a lovely touch and I'm sure the parents will love it as well.
